As someone who knows this person, I thought it only fair to put the word out for unsuspecting people who might be considering financial dealings with him.

Jordan Margolis is a former personal injury lawyer from Chicago, Illinois. In 2013, his law license was suspended by the ARDC when his clients began to report being defrauded by him, and it was ultimately revoked in 2015. In 2016, he was indicted for stealing more than a million dollars from his clients. Around this time, he relocated to Los Angeles and began an attempt at a career as a screenwriter, under the name of Jack Leiv, working for "Ziggy the Elephant Productions". In December 2018, he pleaded guilty to a single charge of theft and was convicted. In September of 2019, and in light of the fact that he had not paid the court-ordered restitution, he was sentenced to three years in prison.
